A session for the Digital Wellness Brigade at Koodali Higher Secondary School, as part of the Souhrida Power Brigade. The Power Brigade is a programme of the Career Guidance and Adolescent Counselling Cell of Kerala's Higher Secondary department, run through each school's Souhrida Club. Koodali HSS is one of 140 schools selected across the state. The Digital Wellness Brigade helps students build healthy screen habits, stay safe and private online, recognise misinformation and use technology responsibly. In this session, we talked about digital wellness, privacy and data security. We discussed how digital tools, especially AI tools, should be used wisely by students: as a mentor, and not as an answering machine. We also discussed how the brigade can educate others about data privacy and cyber scams, and how to manage screen time. The session was part of Swapnachirakukal, a three-day life skills camp of the Power Brigade.
